This rare fluorite from the Rogerley Mine, in Weardale, England; displays a color change dependent upon the nature of ambient lighting. As you can see pictured, there are blue and green colors that are almost indescribably beautiful in this raw piece of Fluorite. To capture and highlight this stone's natural beauty, I wire wrapped it in sterling silver, oxidized it, and polished it for a depthful presentation. This pendant measures 1 1/4" X 3/4".

I love this mineral, it can be such a bore in gangue, but sometimes it just shakes you and shows you what it is really can do!
